Our 2012 Adventures

2012 marked a profound change in our lives.  I retired, not from an aerospace company, but to cycle touring.  We trained  as best we could, and then we set out on our adventures, which unfolded in a series of episodes.  We took our first, baby steps, with two overnight adventures.  Then we tried to take the big step to touring the entire Pacific Coast.  For various reasons, we stepped back from that grand vision, touring only Washington State.  Later, we returned, and cycled the Oregon Coast.  Toward the end of the year, we took to our Mountain Bikes, touring local favorites.
